Hello Raunchers. Happy Post VD! Â Er…Valentine’s Day.
It’s been quieter than usual here at The Raunch Dilettante. Â Mind you, there’s been lots of reading (and listening…) going on behind the scenes. I have some reviews coming up for future releases, some really great books that I’m excited to share. Â In the meantime, here’s what I’ve been up to:
Molly Harper’s Jane Jameson seriesÂ
I got into Molly Harper’s Jane Jameson series. Â It’s a contemporary paranormal romance featuring a snarky small town children’s librarian who is turned into a vampire. Â It’s a hilarious series and I devoured all three books. Â There’s a fourth coming out at the end of the month, and I definitely see myself picking it up.
I’ve found a few AWESOMESAUCE websites lately that have really cracked me up:
Louis vs. Rick – a man teaches his cat to use IM. Hilarity ensues.
Downton Abbey fan? Â You HAVE to check out the hilarious Tumblr featuring the dowager countess…and texting.
Peanut butter pinecone craft time motherf*cka! Mr. RaunchyRyan shared a twitter user he stumbled on the other day. Â @ghettohikes is a 28 yr old nature hiker who takes urban kids out into mother nature. Â He simply shares what the kids do and/or say. Â http://www.ghettohikes.com/
Author Megan Hart is doing a book signing this weekend at my local Barnes & Noble. Â I’m excited about this. Â I’ve been a fan of hers for several years, especially since she’s a fellow Central PA’er. Â Megan writes some pretty awesome stuff, stuff that tends to haunt you for awhile after you’ve finished the book. Â Much Love.
I could talk about the Grammys, but really all I have to say about it is blahblahblahADELE!blahblahblah. Â I’ve loved her since her early 19Â days when all she was known for here in the USofA was Chasing Pavements. Â I know an artist has truly gone mainstream/big time when my mother acquires the album via iTunes (and then proceeds to call me to talk her through how to actually get to it and play it). Â MamaRyan bleeds Kenny Chesney and Nascar, so I was pretty tickled when she told me she loved Adele. Â If you haven’t listened to her Adele Live At The Royal Albert Hall (DVD/CD)
yet, you need to GET ON IT. Live under a rock and missed her performance? Watch it now!
I LOVE Ghetto Hikes! I just found him a few weeks ago! The stuff he writes is hilaious!!!!
