Redonk Nutshell: Erotic painter gets a dose of her own artwork when pulled into a scandal involving her notorious father, his courtesan, and an infamous rake
Official Synopsis: Venetia Hamilton is no stranger to erotic art – her father’s lush paintings are one of society’s secret pleasures. But Venetia has never experienced true desire. Not until she meets Michael Wyndham, the Earl of Trent – a powerful man who holds her future in his hands and awakens her curiosity with one searing kiss. His expert touch is only the beginning of her carnal education, but something more dangerous than submission may be the price she pays for such unimaginable delight…
This book is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. It’s RIDICULOUSLY and DELICIOUSLY raunchy. It’s erotica at its best – a strong plot, an intriguing heroine and hero, and steamy, scandalous liaisons. What more could you ask for, really, then a plot involving an erotic artist enlisting the help of a rakish Earl to get her into a week long orgy? I. KID. YOU. NOT.
I’ve come to love Sharon Page’s work. She writes delicious scenes that curl your toes and make you feel naughty, all while developing interesting characters and an enthralling plot that reads almost like a thriller. I’ve yet to be disappointed by anything I’ve read by her.
Sin is the first in a series about the daughters of erotic novelist, Rodesson. I’ve read the 1st & 2nd books; I have yet to get to the 3rd, but it’s on my list. As of now, Sin still reigns supreme for me. It’s possibly one of my favorite erotic novels. And make no mistake, my friends, it is erotic. I even had an urge to hide it while I was reading it, afraid my husband would make out certain key words and wonder what on earth I was reading. *Noneofyourbusiness! RaunchyRyan says as she shuffles her nose deeper into the book to hide her blush*
If you’re looking for a steamy, intense erotic historical read, you MUST check out Sin.
